Our Yachts & Skipper Profile

The First 40.7 yachts

These 'Formula 3' yachts are designed by the legendary yacht-racing guru, Bruce Farr, with interiors created by Philippe Starck. Suitable for any level of crew experience, the First 40.7 racer cruisers’ come with an IRC3 rating, are MCA safety coded and have an outstanding race record.

Design features

The yachts have a sleek racing hull that efficiently glides through the water. With a deep draft, a tall racing rig, Kevlar sails and racing spinnakers, the First 40.7’s accelerate effortlessly. Furthermore, there is a clean deck layout, a large racing wheel and a wide-open plan cockpit, so that the crew has plenty of room to manoeuvre. If all the above is jargon, then believe us, when we say, “This yacht rocks!!!”

Combining its high tech spec with the luxury of all mod cons and a comfortable interior that has 10 berths, this is a premier boat for chartering.

Yacht capacity

A day sail can accommodate a maximum crew of ten plus two professionals, whereas the two-day packages allow for a crew of eight, accompanied by a skipper and a deck hand.
